Pilates is a form of low impact exercise, that aims to strengthen the body and improve postural alignment and flexibility. Private Pilates tuition benefits the Student with having the complete focus of the Teacher, to ensure that the exercises are being performed correctly for maximum benefit, and helping prevent possible potential injury.
Prior to the session, a consultation is carried out with the Student to determine the strengths and weaknesses in their body, and to ascertain what the Student hopes to achieve from the exercise program.
During the session the Student is provided with a tailor made exercise programme, and is firstly shown, then observed performing the exercises, to ensure optimum understanding.
